It is a rustic, 2 bedroom, 1 bath home built out of lava rock with 1 foot thick walls. The master bedroom/office is 15' X 20' as is the kitchen, the 2nd bedroom is 12' X 15'. It is cool in the summer and warm in the winter. You use solar panels for your electricity (There is now electricity you can hook up to about 1/2 mile away.) and have your water trucked in and stored in a 4,000 gallon stone cistern called a "pila".
There are 3 propane refrigerators and a propane range with an oven.
It has a 50' by 10' by 30' "L" shaped, screened porch that we practically live on during the summer.
The weather is just about the same as in the San Diego, California area.
