The house, newly built of mahogony, is air conditioned and has cable TVs, telephones, stereo, and a fax machine. Each of the five bedrooms has a private bath; four have king-size beds and one has a queen-size bed. The master bedroom and bath are unusually large and luxurious. Casa de Campo is more than a paradise to those who enjoy any sports activity. Three golf courses including one of the top twenty-five in the world, beautiful tennis courts complete with ball boys and flowered covered fences, elegant horses for anything from polo to trail and beach rides, a world class shooting center, deep-sea fishing and beach activities should be enough to fill as many days as you can stay. The dreamy village of Altos de Chavon is less than ten minutes away. Built to promote Dominican art and artists, this handcrafted stone village is well worth both daytime and evening visits for romantic and delicious dining.
