Water is free, electricity cost me at the present about $10.00 per month (depends on how much you run an air conditioner). The electric meter has already been purchased and converted into my name so you will pay residential rates instead of commercial which are about 5 times higher. There is no annual maintenance fee (which can run between $1000 and up per year in most resorts).

The resort is maintained well, in fact one of the better maintained in Candolim-Calangute area. The place is very secure as I returned to America for 5 years and left the place unattended with lots of stuff in it and there was never a problem. In season, which is Nov to March the resort has tourist mainly from England, Germany and Australia.

The staff is wonderful, even though, they are hired for the tourist if you treat them with respect they will go out of their way to help you. I always give them a small tip which amounts to almost nothing and they are always most grateful. There are five families living here permanently, so off-season we have the resort to ourselves and it is quite nice. Also, if you do not plan on living here full-time I can provide you with a reliable agent that will rent your place out for 20% commission when you are away. The surrounding neighbors both in the complex and out are all very nice I have never had a problem and have come to rely upon them in times of emergency.
