This coal-mine plant was set up for strip-mining and has become the center site and workshop of the coal-mining in Mecsek (Hungary).

This coal-mine plant was set up for strip-mining and has become the center site and workshop of the coal-mining in Mecsek (Hungary). It ran until 31. December 2004 when the mining was closed down. The main activities were: production of iron structures, vehicle engineering, tankage, storage, etc. All the licenses for these activities are still existing.

The estate is 56,517 sq metres and includes 10 buildings, 1 aquifer, 1 drilled fountain, 1 petrol station and 1 sewage works. All the public services (water, electricity, gas,) are provided plus internet, ISDN phone system, camcorder system (6 cameras planted at different points of the territory).

Its location is perfect, it is connected with concrete roads and has two main gates (entrances). It is 3 km far from town (PÃ©cs, Hungary) centre.
