The beach at Criel-sur-Mer is just a 15 minute scenic drive away and the cities of Dieppe and Abbeville are just half an hour away.

You can rent the East Wing, which sleeps up to 14, the West Wing, which sleeps up to 10, the Chateau's cosy Cottage which sleeps up to 6, or all three units for larger gatherings.

It's the perfect destination for a family summer holiday, a romantic winter retreat or as an idyllic base for cycling, fishing, hiking, motocross, greenlaneing, quadbiking and other activity holidays. Many of our guests come in the winter months to relax, make the most of the open fires and to enjoy the natural beauty of the region which has so much to offer all year round.

The Chateau and its Cottage are fantastic properties which have been lovingly restored retaining a vast array of original features. Both properties are furnished in keeping with their character and surroundings and provide those little luxuries that make a holiday here something quite special. The Chateau and its Cottage are set in their own private 5 acres of beautiful parkland traversed by a river. We particularly welcome families with children and have concentrated on making it a fantastic and safe place for everyone to have a wonderful holiday.

The Chateau is divided into two halves which can be rented together or separately - the West Wing and the East Wing. The West Wing has two large and two smaller bedrooms and two bathrooms, a huge lounge with mezzanine overlooking it, a kitchen/diner and downstairs loo. The East Wing has four generous bedrooms and three reception rooms, as well as a large dining kitchen and downstairs loo. There is also a pretty 3 bedroomed cottage in the grounds, which can be rented either separately from or in addition to the East and/or West Wing of the Chateau. All properties are very private with their own outdoor living areas and barbecues. They are designed to be enjoyed by three different groups of people but are also ideal to be rented together for larger groups. The superb 30ft x 10ft outdoor pool is open from mid April until October and is heated during this time. A fence surrounds the pool ensuring the safety of younger children.

There is a formal garden at the front of the property, a huge lawned area at the back which is fenced off where it meets the river so children can play safely in the garden. There are bridges over the river to a secret garden area, an orchard and our very own island which is wonderful for meditation sessions! There is also a large duck pond, home to seven friendly ducks, as well as a large meadow with a 12th century church ruin on it to explore. The pasture is also home to our donkey Pepito (or Pete for short!), and two ponies, Clara and Clarissa, who love meeting our guests!

The Chateau has been completely refurbished, retaining masses of original features with modern day luxuries. It is spacious, charming and atmospheric. The Cottage has also been completely refurbished retaining its rustic charm. A holiday here can be spent busily pursuing all the activities on offer in the local area, or doing simply relaxing in the chateau and its grounds.

Each Wing of the Chateau has its own set of games, toys and books to keep the kids amused while the grown ups relax. There's even a 1970's arcade game in the East Wing to occupy the nostalgic!

Babysitting, maid service, in-house catering and bicycle hire can be arranged, subject to availability and extra charge.

Both units are equipped with satellite TV, including English channels, a DVD player and a selection of children's and adults' DVDs.

The East Wing is ideal for a large family, two families, or even a small family who want lots of room! There are four bedrooms, three bathrooms, three reception rooms and a large kitchen/diner. Maximum occupancy is 14.

The West Wing is also ideal for a large family or two, and with its two large bedrooms, two smaller ones, two bathrooms, huge reception room with mezzanine gallery, kitchen/diner and downstairs loo is suitable for up to 10 people.

The Cottage is cosier, has 3 smaller bedrooms, a large lounge which opens onto a private patio area, kitchen/dining room and luxury bathroom and is ideal for a family with up to four children. It is a wonderful country gem, perfect for a summer holiday, a cosy winter retreat or a romantic weekend hideaway during the sun or snow.
