Henry (Sidney Porter) who wrote Of Cabbages and Kings here while fleeing embezzlement charges in New York.

With the magnificent rainforest of the â€œCapyro y Calenturaâ€�? national park in the back - with its dense tropical rainforest and mountain peaks as high as 3600 feet above sea level - the Hotel can easily be turned into an intimate and luxurious nature resort.
